Accounting Manager

Description:The Accounting Manager is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. The position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. In addition the position will involve special projects and review of resource utilization.

Also manages purchasing functions including systems & processes, price negotiation, planning, creating, overseeing & evaluating contracts, vendor relations, inventory control & management, and quality control.
Qualifications:B.S in Accounting with a minimum of Five years experience, preferably within the Health Care field. Experience with computerized Accounting packages and working knowledge of Excel. Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Not-for-Profit Accounting Rules. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must have excellent analytical skills and judgment. Performance of other duties as requested.
